Kelly Music for Life is bringing the beat to the streets of Havertown as it presents the 6th Annual Haverford Spring Fest.

It's free, fun, and perfect for a Sunday afternoon!  So head for Havertown on Sunday, May 5th, between noon and 7pm.
“Cinco de Mayo,” the massive street festival on Brookline Boulevard in Havertown attracts thousands who come to enjoy classic rock and roll and talented young bands that will keep the crowd festive all day.  Local artisans and crafters will display and sell their works. Sponsored by ACME Markets, the event is also a great family fun day with lots of activities including a giant inflatable Fun Zone, bungee rides, and face painting.  For adults there will be 3 Beer Gardens and all types of food by area restaurants.  Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

This is a fundraiser to help fund construction of the Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community which is scheduled to open in Havertown this Spring -- it is one more example of the burgeoning music and art movement sweeping through Delaware County.

In addition to some of the best national touring tribute bands, the Haverford Spring Fest will feature great homegrown talent including:

Classic Stones Live featuring the Glimmer Twins – Keith Call has all of the moves and swagger of Mick Jagger. His partner in crime Bernie Bollendorf, portrays rock and roll outlaw Keith Richards.

The Glimmer Twins (at the top) and Broken Arrow (the band below)
headline a great lineup of national and local acts.
Broken Arrow- The Music of Neil Young – Fronted by Joe Mass of Havertown, Broken Arrow has become the country's premier Neil Young tribute band touring the United States.

Dave Patten and the First Cut – Patten, a Havertown native, teamed up early in his career with rapper Meek Mill. Their electrifying and unconventional collaborations launched them onto the region's radar. Dave tours nationally and has 65 million+ video views online.

Dave Patten performs at the Festival
Solemnis - This rock band is made up of local high school students who met at Richards Rock Academy in Aston. They were last year's winner of St. George's Battle of the Bands and have performed at the Trocadero Theatre, The Bitter End in Manhattan and the Wells Fargo Center.

The Haverford High School Jazz Ensemble - Michael Fein, Director – Haverford Township is recognized by the NAMM Foundation as among the best Communities for Music Education in the country.
