Frankly, there's never a bad day to celebrate good wine.  But for those who need a reason to relax with their favorite Cabernet, Moscato or Sauvignon Blanc, National Wine Day is May 25th.  The likely purpose of this annual holiday is to buy wine, appreciate wine and enjoy the history of wine. After all, this beverage has been a part of human civilization for at least 8,000 years.

That's 8,000-year-old wine was found in the Caucasus region of Eurasia – in what is now the country of Georgia.

The best way to celebrate this tasty holiday?
We suggest a hands-on approach – by going to where the wine is made in the first place! Bring friends or make some new ones at Penns Woods.
