Try saying that 3 times fast!!!

The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation in Ridley Creek State Park is about to be overrun with pirates, spies and other devilish rogues of the high seas.
They’ll drop anchor on July 14th from 11am to 4pm for a fun day of pirate battles, spy missions plus all kinds of games and crafts.

When pirates fought, they had the right to call for ‘parley’ – a temporary truce followed by discussion and deal making – but the only thing you’ll be ‘negotiating’ on Saturday is your way around the Plantation with swashbuckling games, flag making, and history-based demonstrations of life on the sea in the 18th century!

And as you ferry the kids over to the site, why not set the mood with a few very plank-tation jokes:

How much did the pirate's earrings cost? A-buck-an-ear.

Why do seagulls fly over the sea?  If they flew over the bay, they'd be bagels.

A pirate walks into a tavern with a paper towel on his head. The bar-keep asks why?  "I've got a Bounty on me head!"

Why should pirates work for FedEx? They have the fastest ships in the shipping business.

If Blackbeard played sports who would he play for? Either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Pittsburgh Pirates.

What's a pirate's favorite basketball move? Jump hook.

How do pirates make their money? By hook or by crook.

Why don't pirates take a bath before they walk the plank? They'll just wash up on shore later...

How could the pirate acquire the ship so cheaply? Because it was on sail.
