It is only fitting that Delaware County's renowned Symphony should perform a Valentine's Week concert where violin and piano bring to life two famous pieces performed by two exceptional talents!

Don't miss this fabulous presentation featuring the Baroque era's stunning piece The Four Seasons Violin Concerto by Vivaldi -- and Beethoven's challenging Second Piano Concerto.

DCS Artist In Residence, Jennifer Nicole Campbell (picture right, above) will perform Beethoven's always challenging Second Piano Concerto, done in three movements.  He composed it at age 17 as a piece to display her virtuoso piano playing technique.

DCS Concertmaster Nina Vieru (pictured left above) will then perform the ever popular and emotionally expressive The Four Seasons Violin Concerto by Vivaldi. The concerto is a group of four violin concerti which gives musical expression to each season of the year.

The concert will include a brief discussion and explanation of the concert by Musical Director, Dr. Robert Whalen.
