Give a CANINE VALENTINE to your child!
You're never barking up the wrong tree when you teach children to love reading - and that starts with learning how to read better.

The Media-Upper Providence Free Library has a very cool, canine-assisted reading program for children called PAWS for Reading and its held February 6th from 4 to 5pm.

Like love is for adults, reading for kids is sometimes a struggle.  So children 5 and up are invited to practice their reading skills in a safe, non-judgmental environment by reading to a specially-trained therapy dog.  Please register for a 10-minute slot by calling 610-566-1918. This program runs on the first Tuesday of the month from January-May.

The Media-Upper Providence Free Library is a nonprofit organization providing  materials and services for the public’s educational, recreational and vocational needs. The Media Library Association was organized by the Woman’s Club of Media in 1901 and became a member of the Delaware County Library System in 1981.
