At 6am on November 13th the doors will swing open at Ridley's new Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - just in time for breakfast! But you'll get more than just the best pancakes and bacon this side of the Mississippi...

Here are just a few of the almost 200 employees who are busy preparing for the Grand Opening!
The backbone of the management team, General Manager Greg Tucker is in the
back row with the holiday-red tie and Retail Manager Shannon Brooks is next to him
and the beautiful Christmas Tree.
Having been to dozens of Cracker Barrels in my life, (and having eaten my way through too many Wild Maine Blueberry pancakes!) I can say that this restaurant is like a 10,000 square foot living scrapbook, recreating times when families gathered around the table, laughing and telling stories over a luscious meatloaf dinner with piping hot biscuits and fluffy mashed potatoes - topped off with a baked apple dumpling or a frozen mug sundae...

Ridley is their 647th location, and just as its predecessors have won the hearts of millions of people, it will serve up the kind of dining experience that feels like a hug, and tastes like home-cooked heaven.

The menu includes Chicken n' Dumplins, Grilled Chicken Salad, and U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Or try their famous Apple Cider BBQ Chicken Breast, Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout, or Hickory Smoked Country Ham...

Unlike other restaurants, Cracker Barrel also offers a unique shopping experience. The General Store is bursting at the seams with old-fashioned treats like Red Fish, Sky Bars (a milk-chocolate bar with 4 sections filled with caramel, vanilla, peanut and fudge cream), Nonpareils, Peanut Chews, and OMG fudge like my dad used to make. (I'm making myself hungry just writing about this!)

Everyone lingers in the General Store, browsing gorgeous quilts, rugs, old-fashioned games, vintage toys and more.
With Christmas coming, be sure to check out their holiday decorations, Yankee Candles, water globes, and ornaments!

You'll also find some of the best cast iron skillets on the planet, along with fun aprons, apparel, cook books and more.

The antiques on the wall are real and pay tribute to local and state history, like the Flyers' hockey display, a guide to Pennsylvania game birds, and memorabilia from former PA companies like Bethlehem Steel, Pennzoil, and the Philadelphia-based Giuseppe Garibaldi Macaroni Company.
