Located on the Swarthmore College Campus, it's not surprising that Scott Arboretum offers 'classes' of its own.  Sign up now for their August 17th FREE Lecture on the best plants to grow in your fall garden!

While Swarthmore College has been ranked the best liberal arts college in the United States 6 times - and counts 5 Nobel Prize winners among its alumni, Scott Arboretum is the floral gem in their collegiate crown.

Celebrated for its horticultural excellence and display, the Arboretum's expert staff offer a series of FREE Classes and Lectures to share gardening tips and regional botanical information with tourists and locals alike.
The staff at Scott Arboretum knows how to 'dazzle' in the fall...
and they can't wait to share their tips with you!

THIS FREE FALL GARDEN LECTURE will help turn your green thumb shades of red, gold and dazzling!
Curator, Mary Tipping will elaborate on the Arboretum's favorite plants and why you’ll want to add them to your garden.

You'll also get a sneak peek at many of the great plants that will be available to purchase at Scott's Fall Sale, September 16 & 17.

Don't miss this chance to learn from those who care for one of the region’s most intimate, authentic, and accessible horticultural experiences.

The Outdoor Amphitheater (pictured left) hosts Swarthmore College's commencement ceremonies and consists of 8 tiers, grassed and edged in stone.

The Arboretum is open to the public daily, at no charge.  You'll likely meet students, tourists, and local residents who come to study, photograph and linger in this special place.
