This event brings history to life and makes it fun!  
Drexel Lodge Park, home of the Newtown Square Railroad Museum, is the lynch-pin location for a day of touring and exploring Newtown Square's most historic sites:
Kids love to celebrate history BEE-cause it's so much fun!
  • 1828 Paper Mill House Museum
  • 1711 Friends Meeting House
  • 1840 Octagonal School House
  • 1860 Bartram's Covered Bridge
  • 1895 PA Railroad Museum
  • All locations will be open with on-site guides and activities.
  • Plus there will be special programs at the Veteran's Memorial including an Antique and Classic Car Show!
  • Hours:10am to 4pm
Many of these sites are not open on a regular basis - so this is a chance to tour several of them in one day! Plus Drexel Lodge Park will offer lots of family-friendly activities all day plus live music, games, crafts and more, including:
  • Art Show plus a 5th Grade Poster Art Exhibition and Judging.
  • 1st Continental Regiment of Foot encampment
  • Lenni Lenape Native Americans
  • Sheep Shearing
  • Blacksmith Demonstration
  • A variety of vendors
  • Live Animals and more!

History is best shared...so grab a friend get crafty
while learning how our ancestors got hammered. :)
