June 24th, Movie in the Vineyard:
This Adults Only 'Ladies Night' features the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's

Whenever this 5-time Oscar nominated flick is on TV, I turn off my phone, make a bowl of popcorn, pour a glass of wine and watch Holly Golightly go on a journey of self discovery that enables her to wear stunning clothes and land sexy co-star, George Peppard.

So treat yourself to a night at the movies where there are no walls...just stars above, stars on the screen... and a green carpet under your feet.

Interesting 'Breakfast' tidbits...
  • The film cemented Hepburn's reputation as an all-time fashion icon
  • Peppard, an up-and-coming matinee idol-type was not a unanimous choice as co-star (Steve McQueen was unavailable)
  • Alan Reed played gangster Sally Tomato - and was also the voice of Fred Flintstone!
  • Buddy Ebsen had retired from acting before being persuaded to play Doc Golightly, Holly's estranged husband from the south.  His performance extended his career by decades, by landing him the role of Jed Clampett on 'The Beverly Hillbillies.'  (Now that's what we call striking oil!)
DETAILS:Movie begins at dusk  (apprx. 9 pm) and tickets are $16.50, including free popcorn.

MUST BE 18+ - wine list will be available to purchase wines by the glass and bottle.

Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. No outside beverages are permitted (alcoholic or not).
