On  Friday, Sept 9th the 31st Annual Celebration of the Mighty Mushroom will kick off the weekend with dancing in the streets of Kennett Square...Mushroom Capital of the World!

Over 3 days more than 100,000 people will come to one of the wackiest food festivals in the country...and one of the tastiest!

But don't just take our word for it:
  • Named One Of America's Best Food Festivals by Gourmet LIVE!
  • USA Today Travel named the Mushroom Festival one of the Strangest Food Festivals in America.
  • It received 2nd place in the USA Today/Readers Choice poll for Best Specialty Food Festival - 2014

So pack the family into the car and set your GPS for F.U.N.
The Festival goes into high gear on Saturday and Sunday, the 10th and 11th. (This is a rain or shine event, so keep an umbrella in the car.)

Admission is $3 per person (ages 12 and up) -- and all proceeds from admission goes toward the Mushroom Festival’s grant program, which in 2016 donated $85,000 to 47 non-profit organizations.

On Saturday there will be a Street Fair, Grower's Exhibit, a Painted Mushroom Silent Auction, a Cute-as-a-button Baby Photo Contest, Mushroom cook-offs plus:
  • An Antique and Classic Car Show
