The entire team, here at Destination Delco will be attending the Chamber's June 15th Luncheon at the Springfield Country Club - and we hope you'll join us!

Our own Executive Director, Tore Fiore, is receiving the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedication to family, and to enhancing community life and business in Delaware County.

Tore speaks to the crowd assembled for the 2011 Grand Opening of our Bureau Offices in Rose Tree Park.

The Chamber's Annual Luncheon will also honor many others who made major contributions to the county and its business community, including outgoing Board Members who contribute time, expertise and resources in assisting the Chamber.

at the Brandywine River Museum.
Tore's "lifetime of achievement" began with more than 20 years in Television and Radio marketing.
Then he opened his own special events company  -- was part of the management team for the Philadelphia stage of the LIVE AID CONCERT, broadcast around the world -- and helped produce Delco's portion of the Nation's Bi-Centennial Celebration in 1976.

Bringing all of that expertise to the Bureau in 2004, he expanded the marketing programs, developed and promoted new events, and reinvigorated Delaware County's tourism mission.

He is the driving force behind the 2015  re-branding of the bureau from Brandywine Country to DESTINATION DELCO -- which uses a fun, casual approach to promoting all the quirky, cool, crazy, beautiful things that make Delco unlike any other place.

In just 9 months our digital and web presence has exploded, delivering more website, blog and driving tour visitors than ever before.

Under his leadership the Bureau helped manage and promote events like Riverfront Ramble that for 5 years brought more than 50,000 people down to the riverside communities for fun, music and great food on the waterfront.

The Bureau continues to work hand-in -hand with Operation First Response to produce WALK FOR THE WOUNDED, an annual charity event that has raised 1.5 million dollars for wounded soldiers -- and brought thousands of visitors to the county over the past 9 years.
takes place each spring at Rose Tree Park in Media.
Working with Talon Energy Stadium, his supportive marketing efforts helped attract major events, from an international dog show to the stadium's first major concert which generated more than 10 million dollars in revenue for the county.

We're proud to be part of his team, and invite you come to share this moment with him.
