Say Mais Oui! to a Bastille Day Celebration of Music, Art, Dance, Shopping and Faa-a-a-bulous Food Up & Down State Street in Media.

Delco is going French on July 9th from 6 to 10pm - and you're invited to come experience the ART of Independence as they storm the Bastille with art, music, dancing, theater, outdoor dining, late night shopping, and fun for all ages.

Media is a town that takes on new life at night...from dusk through 9 or 10pm, people are shopping,
frequenting dozens of restaurants, racing into the Media Theatre to catch a show,
or enjoying an ice cream cone with friends in Veteran's Square (pictured on the left, in the headline photo).
Meet amazing Plein air painters, abstract artists, crafters, musicians, actors, entertainers, poets, shopkeepers, and neighbors. You can even take dance lessons along the trolley tracks, and dance into the night!

Bastille Day is the name given in English-speaking countries to the French National Day. In France, it is never called Bastille Day --  it is La Fête Nationale (The National Celebration) --commemorating the Storming of the Bastille and the unity of the French people.

And all month long...Dîner sous les étoiles!
