On Sunday, June 12th the historic Grange Estate and the American Historical Theatre are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act with a special presentation, “Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis: Preservation and Grace, an American Legacy.”

  • She was a Kennedy.
  • She was an Onassis.
  • Yet she did not define herself by her husbands.
  • Her enduring legacy would be the force of nature that was Jacqueline!

In the stately drawing room of the Gothic Revival mansion at the Grange Estate, actress Jill Lawrence will bring the woman we knew as “Jackie” to life by interpreting her tireless efforts for the public good.

Sharing this dedication to historic preservation, the Grange Estate and the American Historical Theatre hope to enlighten, enrich and entertain an audience with Jackie's passion.

Meet Jacqueline in the drawing room of the Grange Mansion. The program is an hour and includes a question and answer session followed by hors d’oeuvres and champagne punch. Admission is $25 per person, and advance purchase is required as seating is limited.
