On May 7th our Destination Delco CVB is throwing a 3-hour SPRING SPORTS FESTIVAL for the Official Radnor Grand Opening of the Delaware County Sports Legends Museum!

Newly retired, 37-year NBA referee Joe Crawford (pictured above) is one of more than a dozen special guests expected to attend -- and if Joe was wearing his whistle right now, he might have to call a Double Dribble - a fun sports festival followed by a festive celebration of the Museum's new home in the Radnor Township Municipal Building!

But Joe can't call Charging ...because the event is free! :)  So grab your buddies, your kids, a sports loving parent and join the fun Saturday, May 7th from 11am to 2pm.

See interactive exhibits, artifacts, collectibles, films, videos, and posters -
plus enjoy a Mummers String Band, food and special guests:

The transformation of the Radnor government building into a sanctuary honoring the blood, sweat and glory of hundreds of famous Delco atheletes is a home run!

What used to be ordinary office space has muscled-up into a sleek, powerful canvas that takes you on a journey through 100+ years of Delco sports history from high school juggernaut teams, to Olympians - world champions - ground breakers - and national heroes like our 2016  #1 Villanova Wildcats!

Hear the crack of the bat as you explore the tribute to Mickey Vernon, born in Marcus Hook, and who hit .300 or better 7 times!

Feel the swoosh and glide of 2-time Olympic Bronze Medal winning diver, Radnor High's own Mary Ellen Clark ...

Imagine the determination and love of baseball exemplified by Ed Bolden, born in Concordville in 1881, who founded the Negro Baseball League World Champion Darby Hilldales that became one of the "powerhouse teams" of the Negro leagues.

Two-time Bronze Medalist, Mary Ellen Clark
