They're baa-aack!
The Philly Union are tuned up and ready to play in their newly named Talen Energy Stadium - but first they'll be kicking off the 2016 season with two away games.

We're all chomping at the bit, hoping our Jim Curtin-led team can start the season with big wins over Dallas and Columbus this month.  But die-hard soccer fans are going to arrive ready to rumble at our first home game on March 20th against the New England Revolution.

Last year's big signing of Tranquillo Barnetta could prove huge this year.
Now entering his first full season with the Union, #10 seems poised to blow-up the offense in the midfield - but his first, and perhaps most memorable soccer goal happened as a teenager:

As a kid he used to walk 30 minutes from home to watch FC St. Gallen play as often he could. Imagine how he felt when at 17,  he signed his first pro contract to play for them!
“It was amazing,” Barnetta said. “One year before, I was a supporter behind the goal. Then you are on the pitch and you’re playing. And you know all your friends are there, watching you play.”
