The Newlin Grist Mill's own history is the inspiration for their 2nd Annual LENSES ON NEWLIN Art Show

The art show is part of Faces of Newlin, a series of presentations, walks, and activities exploring the rich array of resources at the Newlin Grist Mill.

Artists, poets and photographers were invited to draw upon both the environmental and historic components of the park for inspiration, submitting up to 3 pieces for exhibit consideration.

The accepted pieces will be featured in The Newlin Grist Mill Art Show and Sale that runs from November 21st through December 31st --  9am to 4pm everyday.

While you’re at the show, be sure to tour the Grist Mill and the surrounding 160-acre park that features nature trails and great fishing.  If you’ve never seen the inner workings of a grist mill, you’re in for a treat!  From its amazing GUTS OF GEARS to the 18th century skills needed make the transformation of seeds into food...it’s a memorable afternoon.
