At the Crossroads
Located about 9 miles west of center city Philly, the Historic Grange Estate is a 17th century settlement of buildings, gardens, and grounds with a mansion style porch and piazza for special events.  Their first big bash of the fall is their October 11th, FALL OPEN HOUSE with a Pumpkin Painting & Scarecrow Making Workshop from 1 to 4pm.

If the Eagles are causing your blood pressure to spike, this could be the perfect Sunday alternative!  Bring the family and all the creativity you can muster because with Halloween looming, your home could probably use a colorful pumpkin by the door...or a scarecrow for your yard. Just remember to bring your own old clothing for stuffing!

Consider taking a full tour of the Mansion while you're there.  They're offered every Saturday and Sunday through October 25th — 1:00 - 4:00 pm (Adults $5 — Students $1)
NOTE: The last tour begins at 3:30 pm.
